Eating my way through New York

Here are the restaurants I ate this past week in NY. Living in Italy, where we can really only get Italian, it was nice to be back in a city with so much availability and access to ethnically diverse foods.

Here is where I ate:

Aug 24, fri:

Dinner: fatty crab (Malaysian), upper west side

Aug 25, sat:

Breakfast: viand cafe (new york diner), upper west side

Snack: mud truck (coffee), Astor place

Lunch: north dumpling, lower lower east side

Dinner:  lupes (Mexican), soho

Aug 26, sun:

Brunch: community (organic), morning side

Snack: jake walk (cheese, charcuterie and wine), carroll garden, brooklyn

Dinner: gran electrica (Mexican), dumbo brooklyn

Aug 27, mon:

Breakfast: bagel place, upper west side

Lunch: el presidente (dominican), washington heights

Dinner: takahachi (japanese), east village

Aug 28, tue:

Breakfast: bagel place, upper west side

Lunch: The vine (japanese), morning side

Dinner: Nicks (burger joint), upper west side

Aug 29, wed:

Breakfast: levain bakery (french pastries), upper west side

Lunch: le monde (french), morning side

Dinner: b cafe (belgian), upper west side

Aug 30, thu:

Breakfast: bagels, upper west side

Lunch: sandwich at columbia university

Dinner: dinner at friends house

Aug 31, fri

Breakfast: jou jou (cafe), washington heights

Lunch: sandwich at columbia university

Dinner: dinner at friends house

Sept 1, sat:

Breakfast: absolute bagels, morning side

Lunch: boca chica (latin american), east village

Dinner: thai market (thai), morning side

Sept 2, sun:

Breakfast: absolute bagels, morning side

Lunch: picnic on bear mountain, and aperitivos at glenn’s

Dinner: gari (sushi), upper west side
